Update

Silas is doing good. when they brought him home the test for jaundice was positive so he had to be put in a mini tanning bed for a couple of days. they were only able to take him out to feed him and to change him. this broke their hearts to see him in there helpless. but we are greatful that it was nothing serious. so for now he is healthy. he doesnt make any fuss unless he is hungry and he makes it very obvious that he is hungy, he definately knows where the goods are at! ;~)

i cant wait to see him in September!! i am going nuts not seeing him and not being able to hold him!! but like i said before the pictures are great for now! but that wont hold me over for long! hehe....

as for Kalob and i... we are doing great! we cant believe that it is already almost August! where has this year gone? i swear that last time i looked we were celebrating valentines day! and now it is August? but for it going by so fast it has been a wonderful year so far! it is crazy because i am starting to see things happening again here in the Gila Valley! i have lived here for over a year now and cant believe how much has happened in that year! kalob and i are getting ready to celebrate our year anniversary and have so much planned! it has truly been a blessing being able to be sealed for time and eternity to my best friend! we have been through the thick and the thin and are so grateful to have each other to go through it together!

the 24th of july was not much of a celebration for us. all of the festivities were in pima and so we just decided to hang out and have fun together and with his family all day. but i told Kalob that i did want to go watch the fireworks. so since the 4th of july fireworks didnt start until 9 i was figuring it would start the same time. well at 820 my sister in law that was already there texted me to tell me that they were starting so kalob hurried and got ready for work for that night and we were in the truck driving to pima which is about 10 minutes away. well as we were driving we started seeing the fireworks, and there were alot of them, so i jokingly told Kalob, "watch, that was the finale" as we were laughing we started searching for the rest of the fireworks, but i had been RIGHT! we saw the finale on the road, so we just turned around and went back to our home. so we enjoyed the finale... and the rest of the day that was so nice and relaxing!

Silas Austin Ellsworth

Silas decided to be welcome into this world at 3:07 pm on july 22nd at 9lbs 4oz 20.5 inches long!!!!!! this boy is devin through and through! he has the Anderson hands (which are HUGE!) and he has devins little cluff chin aka little butt chin ;~) he is so chunky! he is a very quiet and chill baby! he has been sleeping most of the time (he also got that from Dev! ;~) ) he is a healthy boy. the only problem was that his breathing was very fast because his blood was too thick. so they put him in the respiratory unit the rest of the day and night to fix the problem. they also gave him an iv and they had to prick him a couple times and he didnt budge or make a noise!! he got his good behavior from his Aunty Rachelle!! ha jk!! they said that this is a very common problem and is easily fixed. THANK GOODNESS!!!!

Devin called me a hour after the birth and he sounded so proud and excited!! you could just tell he was smiling ear to ear just by the way he sounded!! he will be an amazing daddy!! and he didnt faint during the delivery! he was so strong and even got to cut the embilical cord!! he was right by steph the whole time!

Steph had an amazing delivery! her water broke at 8am and she was already at a 4 and then a little later she was at an 8! and soon after she had the little big guy!! she was so strong! can you imagine pushing a 9 lb bowling ball out of you!! ha yeah amazing! she is doing good and is already being a wonderful mom!! i am so proud of her and cant wait to watch this little man grow! i love him already SO much!! it hurts that i cant see him and hold him right now or until september. and then only see him maybe twice a year! but thats ok!! as long as they know i love them and especially love the miracle that they brought into this world!

my parents as soon as they heard her water broke that morning took off to utah, the long 9 hour drive. they missed the birth by only a couple hours and are staying till sunday with them! LUCKY!! i cant believe my parents are grandparents!! ha they are too young to be grandparents! haha but they will be amazing!!!

i love you Devin!
i love you Steph!
AND
i LOVE you Mr. Silas!!!!!!!

CATCH UP

it has been a while since i last posted, but i really hate posting with out pictures. and since i blog at work it is really hard for me to get pictures... so i guess i will go ahead and post with out pictures this time, just so i dont feel guilty!

alot has happened...
*Kalob and I have been married for 10 whole wonderful months now!
*we celebrated the 4th of July which wasnt very fun, Kalob had to work and they didnt start the firworks until he had to leave for work. so that was a bummer. but then the next day on sunday my amazing parents and my wonderful brother clint and his very gorgeous prego wife Britt came to visit us for the night, we had a great big meal, played the WII (the boxing game- punch out) it was HILARIOUS! i will try to post pics of that later. and played cover your assetts. a card game my other brother taught us at christmas. which is so fun! we enjoyed their company SO much! i hate how far apart we live from clint and britt!! it was a very short visit but worth every second of it! thank you guys for coming!! OH i almost forgot! i got to feel my little nephew KICK!!! that is the first time i have ever felt a baby kick! while kalobs sister was prego, liam would be kicking and as soon as i would put my hand on her tummy he would stop!! that little stinker! so it was amazing to feel such a small baby kick and how powerful it was. it was truly miraculous!!
*devin and stephany's baby should be coming any day now!! they are blessing him labor day weekend which i will definitely be attending!!
*spent time with my parents! which i love!
*my parents participated in a local "biggest loser" compitition. it consisted of people from heber, snowflake/taylor payson and tucson. and...my dad won!!!! he lost 30 flippin lbs!! he looks like he is in his 30's (besides the little white in his beard ;) and my mom took 3rd losing 20 flippin lbs!! she looks amazing. people will start wondering when i got a sister!! ;) i am so proud of my parents they gave up alot of things they loved... like for instance... my dad LOVED pepsi!!! he gave it up and only drinks water! and my mom LOVES milk.. and she gave it up and only drinks water... and my mom and her chocolate!! oh man she loved her chocolate. but... not any more. she HARDLY ever eats it. any way... i love them and i am so proud!!
*and... drum roll please.....drum drum drum drum drum..... we bought a BOAT!!!! well actually my parents and us wents halvsies on it... so we half bought it. but yeah it is amazing. we have only been on the lake once, but it was AMAZING!! it is such a nice boat! and we are taking it out on saturday to roosevelt for my father in laws birthday!! hope they like it!!
*i have tried and tried to get up on the wake board but i just couldnt do it... well when we went to roosevelt last week.... i GOT UP!!! but i was so surprised and scared when i got up i kinda freaked and let go. better then face planting it hard right? ha but then i was scared that it was going to just be a fluke.. and i wouldnt get up again.. but.. i got up again! i am so excited! and i made my hubby proud! ;)
well..... i think that that is mostly all that has happened lately.. hopefully i can keep up on here so i dont have to do this any more...

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!

I am writing this post just a little early only because i know if i dont write it now then i wont write it... so HAPPY 4TH!!!
this has always been one of my favorite holidays! when it comes to my favorite holiday 4th of july falls RIGHT below Christmas! (thats how much i love it!) i am from a little town called Heber and if anyone has been there for the 4th you will know what i am talking about!! the fireworks are AWESOME!! this is one of the biggest things Heber is known for! and they wont let you down! all day is fun filled with parades, games, rides, dancing, and seeing so many new and familiar faces! the 4th of july in heber is seriously just a HUGE reunion for everyone! people who have moved and gone on with their lives elsewhere come back! my family usually all shows up (from Georgia and utah) just for this event. but....
unfortunately for us this year we cant go :(...... i have been real bummed about it especially since my brother and sister in law (that is prego and due in october) will be coming home for it. kalob just started this new job and so he has to work saturday night. seriously sometimes i HATE being a grown up and having responsibilities!! it BLOWS!! but i finally got over it... and we will be spending all saturday with kalobs dads family! which i am very excited about. kalob will watch most of the fireworks with me here and then run to work. so as long as i am with my hubby i am happy! and he is providing for me and our future family, so i really cant complain.

BUT.. since we are going to miss seeing my brother and sis, my parents and them are coming up on sunday, staying the night and leaving monday morning to catch their flight...
this i am REALLY excited about! i love my brother clint and his beautiful wife Britt!!! they are such an amazing couple and are such an example to us! i love them and CANNOT wait to see them!! (and their little bun in the oven!)

CLINT & BRITT

They are going to make one cute boy!!

oh..... They are naming
their baby boy James Charles Ellsworth
